Jay is the owner of Café Heimat. He has invested fifteen years of his life into the café and believes strongly in tradition, structure, and doing things the way they have always been done.
He is constantly balancing stress, responsibility, and the fear that everything he has built could disappear overnight. Jay can be intimidating and explosive, but beneath his controlling personality is someone who genuinely cares about the place and the people working in it.
We are looking for an actor with strong comedic timing who can move naturally between authority, frustration, and vulnerability.
